About The Position

Next Gen Software Solutions is hiring an Atlassian Jira Admin for an onsite contract role in Hartford, Connecticut; Raleigh, North Carolina; Richardson, Texas; or Tempe, Arizona. The position has a stated duration of 6–12 months and requires 8+ years of experience. The interview process consists of one virtual interview and one in-person client interview.

The role focuses on administration of Atlassian Cloud, including Jira Software, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence; user, site, access, and permission administration; and development and support of Atlassian Forge apps. The administrator will support large-scale Atlassian environments and apply security, governance, access controls, and guardrails.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience.
• Atlassian Cloud administration experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence.
• Experience with organization, site, user access, and permission management.
• Atlassian Forge development experience with Forge UI Kit, Custom UI, Forge Functions, Storage APIs, Web Triggers, and custom fields.
• Experience building and supporting Jira and Confluence Forge apps.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven integrations, including Microsoft Teams and ServiceNow.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence automation.
• Experience operating and supporting large-scale Atlassian environments of 8,000 or more users.
• Knowledge of security, governance, access controls, and guardrails.
