About The Position

The Freelance Firm is a national network of experienced, high-level, freelance attorneys and paralegals providing remote on-demand support for legal projects. We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Atlanta-based Immigration Attorney for in-person appearances for Master Calendar Hearings and Individual Hearings coverage. A weekly Hearing Calendar will be shared, allowing the attorney to select hearings that fit their schedule.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Georgia.
• Must be able to attend in-person hearings in the Atlanta area.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Immigration law.
• Understand local rules and court system.
• Well-organized and proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-starter and able to work independently.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend in-person Master Calendar Hearings and Individual Hearings in the Atlanta area.
• Select hearings from a weekly shared Hearing Calendar that align with personal schedule.
• Provide coverage for immigration law cases.
