About The Position

The Freelance Firm is a national network of experienced, freelance attorneys and paralegals providing remote on-demand support for legal projects. Due to increased demand, we are seeking a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Atlanta-based Immigration Attorney for in-person appearances for Master Calendar Hearings and Individual Hearings Coverage. A weekly Hearing Calendar will be shared, allowing the attorney to select hearings that fit their schedule.

Requirements

• Licensed in good standing to practice law in Georgia.
• Must be able to attend in-person hearings in the Atlanta area.
• Understand local rules and court system.
• Well-organized and proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-starter and able to work independently.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Immigration law.
• Spanish fluency.

Responsibilities

• Attend in-person Master Calendar Hearings in the Atlanta area.
• Attend in-person Individual Hearings in the Atlanta area.
• Understand local rules and court system.
• Meet deadlines.
