About The Position
You are applying for a student lead within game day work in the athletics department. The student lead will work to assist in scheduling, training, communication, and event assistance. Candidates need to be able to perform the duties listed below capably.
Requirements
- Must be a current UW-Superior student
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must demonstrate strong communication
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and during breaks
Nice To Haves
- Preference given to students who qualify for federal work study
Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and distribution of game worker scheduling
- Be knowledgeable in the ticketing process and available to assist in training new game workers
- Work special events (youth days, promotion giveaways, playoffs, etc.)
- Provide excellent customer service at all UW-Superior athletic events
- Be knowledgeable in information regarding athletic events and promotions
- Assist in event set up and take down
- Encourage customer participation in promotional activities
- Verify valid student identification cards
- Distribute coupons and other promotional materials as directed
- Dress in proper work apparel suitable to venue and weather
- Support departmental projects and special assignments as needed
Benefits
- Pay Rate: $13.00/hour
