The Athletics Communication Manager assists with developing and supervising the execution of communication programs and may supervise personnel and/or other resources in support of athletics communication goals. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the athletics communication unit, planning, writing, and editing content for various stakeholders, and developing communication materials through multiple mediums. The position also assists with planning and directing unit programs and projects, identifying and implementing new operational policies, compiling and distributing statistics, and fulfilling communication and reporting requirements with the NCAA, WIAC, and intercollegiate opponents. Additionally, the role involves assisting in recruiting, training, and managing student staff.
