IBJI Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC) are an integral part of a fast-paced orthopedic practice that must excel in IBJI’s core values of patient-centric care, musculoskeletal care, and teamwork. The role of the ATC functions as a liaison between patients, athletes, physicians, physical therapists, and administration. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing superior care to patients and clients, providing athletic training coverage at various events, and educating the public on health-related awareness/prevention topics. All responsibilities should be performed while maintaining the highest standard of care and integrity in order to provide the best community experience possible. IBJI employs ATCs of all backgrounds to have professionally and personally rewarding experiences on a daily basis. With a patient first collaborative model, IBJI ensures top-tier patient care by facilitating close relationships between referring physicians and clinicians. Camaraderie amongst IBJI ATCs leads to both a positive work environment and to long-lasting work field connections.
