About The Position

The Athletic Trainer serves as a clinical and educational resource for staff, students, area coaches, athletic directors, and physicians. The role provides quality care to patients of all ages through assessment, planning, implementation, and instruction, and carries out procedures in accordance with established state and national standards, policies, protocols, and guidelines. This position is in Rehabilitation at St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur, Illinois, and is scheduled as casual PRN with a rotating shift. The listed pay range is $24.31–$36.47; the actual rate depends on relevant experience, skills, training, certifications, and education.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited program (bachelor's, master's, or doctorate) that meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice.
Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Licensed Athletic Trainer.
Certified BLS, or completion of BLS within the first 90 days of employment.
