Requirements
- Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field
- NATA Certification (ATC)
- Licensed Athletic Trainer in Texas (LAT) & New Mexico (preferred)
- CPR/AED/BLS certified
- First Aid
- Evaluate athletic injuries and provide immediate care
- Maintain accurate records of injuries and treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, coaches & officials
Responsibilities
- Attend scheduled sports events providing on site care as needed
- Conducting athlete intake assessments, SOAP notes and maintaining medical records for all athletes
- Coordinating with the management to maintain equipment inventory
- Developing treatment plans and making appropriate recommendations for ideal steps in athlete care
