About The Position

This position is for Athletic Coaching Staff (non-Volunteers) within Portsmouth Public Schools. The role requires extensive knowledge of the rules and skills in the sport applying for, a program-centered approach, and the ability to exhibit good sportsmanship. The coach must also possess knowledge of VHSL rules and work effectively with children. Previous competitive experience at the college, club team, or professional level is preferred.

Requirements

• Must submit a standard on-line application.
• Must submit two letters of reference.
• Must submit a recent TB test or screening.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of one year of coaching experience as an Assistant or Head Coach.
• Previously competed at the college level, club team or professional level.
