Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems to ensure production equipment stays available, capable, and safe to operate.
  • Stopping unsafe work, reporting hazards immediately, modeling proper PPE use, and helping build an interdependent safety culture.
  • Applying high standards of workmanship, following diagrams and specifications precisely, performing quality inspections, and raising issues early to prevent costly failures.
  • Supporting failure analysis, providing feedback to the preventive-maintenance system, and helping identify root causes that improve long-term equipment performance.
  • Conforming to electrical codes and standards, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and completing repairs that keep production flowing smoothly.
  • Instructing and coaching others, serving as an informal technical resource, and sharing best practices that raise the skill level of the entire team.
  • Working with peers to reduce constraints, schedule maintenance around production needs, solve problems collaboratively, and participate in TPM and process-improvement activities.
  • Completing required training, pursuing personal development, and adapting to new tasks and technologies that support evolving business goals.
