About The Position

Vicor is an American manufacturer of advanced 48V-centric DC-DC converters. The company provides an opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing processes assembling power modules used in AI, electric vehicles, and aerospace. The ATE Test Technician performs testing on a variety of modules, including setup and operation of complicated electronic equipment. The role is scheduled for second shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Associate degree, electronics certificate, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in electronics testing in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on a variety of modules.
• Set up and operate complicated electronic equipment.
• Troubleshoot to the component level.
• Work from schematics, drawings, written procedures, and verbal instructions.
• Assist and train lower-level technicians as necessary.
• Keep necessary records, report rejects and failure patterns, and perform related duties.
