About The Position

SAIC is seeking an experienced, Full-time ATC Training Instructional Supervisor to join the SAIC Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team at the Tampa ATCT (TPA) in Tampa, FL. This role supports air traffic controller training services for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The FAA is responsible for ensuring a high level of safety and professionalism from air traffic control specialists, and a well-trained workforce is essential. The FAA employs over 14,000 air traffic controllers who work in various facilities, safely separating over 50,000 aircraft daily. To meet training needs, the FAA utilizes contractor-provided instructional services for both new and recurrent training. The scope includes all training and support services to prepare students to become fully certified air traffic controllers across all types and levels of ATC facilities. The CTS Instructional Supervisor is a hands-on position requiring the candidate to deliver high-quality classroom and simulation laboratory training to diverse students, including developmental air traffic controllers and certified professional controllers (CPC). The supervisor will oversee and direct the activities of contractor personnel within a specific instructional area under the contract.
