The Assured Position, Navigation and Timing (APNT) Administrator supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will develop system and reference architectures for expeditionary APNT within mounted, dismounted, and C2 environments. They will also develop user requirements and technical specifications for expeditionary APNT capabilities, and thorough testing practices and analysis of incremental system improvements. Additionally, the role involves developing modeling for the entire project lifecycle using a tailored and integrated framework based on TOGAF and ITIL best practices, and developing/authoring deliverables such as technical papers and briefs to convey information, interpret data, and provide courses of action to decisionmakers. The position also includes deployment and testing of the Test Asset Fly-Away Kit (TAFAK), performing market analysis/technical assessments of new and emerging commercially available APNT capabilities, mentoring government and contractor staff on PNT related topics, and providing SME support on APNT system integration. Further responsibilities include SME oversight into the development and testing of PNT technologies/systems, conducting/participating in modeling and simulation activities on APNT capabilities/systems, vulnerability assessments, developing mitigation strategies, advising on offensive operations, evaluating new technologies for PNT resilience, and collaborating with interagency and allied partners. The administrator will also review CDRLs from APNT vendors, assist leadership in process improvement and problem-solving, and gather/apply data to maintain relevant metrics.
