About The Position

Exact Stormwater Management is a founder-led, growing company with an important mission to protect Virginia’s waters by providing innovative products and installing, rehabilitating, and maintaining stormwater BMPs. Headquartered in Midlothian and focused in Virginia, the company makes an impact throughout the southeast. The Project Manager role is the hub of the organization, responsible for building relationships with customers and crews. This person works with the team to line up the people and resources needed to complete projects.

  • Two plus years in Construction Industry.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with crew leaders to determine the resources needed to complete projects.
  • Places orders for miscellaneous materials, rental equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Works with customers to schedule projects based on client needs, crew availability, and production variables.
  • Maintains communication with customers from scheduling the work to compiling and sharing reports at the end of the project.
  • Schedules individuals and crews for maximum efficiency, then adapts and adjusts as needed.
  • Promotes and contributes to a positive work environment.
  • Problem solves as necessary to perform job functions.
  • Sets up estimates, job details, and schedules in the project management system.
  • Ensures that all project documentation is accurate, complete, and readily accessible to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensures the field team has all necessary supplies, materials, equipment, and information needed to complete the project on time and within budget.
  • Provides ongoing communication with the field team to address any issues or needs during project execution.
  • Provides clients with all required documentation, including W9 forms, Certificates of Insurance (COIs), safety information, and any necessary training materials.
  • Maintains professional communication with clients, ensuring they are kept up to date on project status and receive all necessary reports and documentation.
  • Reviews and ensures photos, captions, and progress reports are accurate before sharing them with clients in a timely manner.
  • Assists in generating and reviewing project status reports, ensuring data is correctly captured and aligned with client expectations.
  • Tracks time worked on projects for both field teams and internal personnel, ensuring all time entries are accurate and properly recorded.
  • Assists team members with timesheet completion, ensuring all hours are submitted in a timely manner and in accordance with project schedules.
  • Coordinates with the accounting department to ensure proper billing and reporting of labor hours on client invoices.
  • Tracks the repair, inspection, and calibration schedules for project-related equipment.
  • Coordinates with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition for project use.
  • Acts as a liaison between field teams, clients, and internal project stakeholders.
  • Works closely with the Project Manager and Project Administrator to resolve any issues and ensure the project runs smoothly.
