Requirements

Min. High School Diploma, 4-year degree preferred
2 to 4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within Plastics Industry
Excellent Communication and Organizational skills
Leadership Skills
Technical understanding (Manufacturing and IT)
Strong knowledge sharing/training skills
Act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by adhering to all ALPLA policies and procedures and Safety Standards (OSHA).

Responsibilities

Assists with New Hire Training
Executes follow-up training
Implements and trains new procedures
Ensures training procedures are followed
Ensures proper documentation is maintained
Supports Production Manager in project work such as: Waste Control, Continuous Improvement
Real-time interaction with production floor by using MES/IT Systems
Checks packaging area
Coordinates label printing
Updates and posts graphs for daily walk through
Checks if all devices are up-to-date and functional
Compiles daily production plan together with Planner
Ensures all machine change-overs are performed in timely manner
Back up For Production Manager and Production Supervisors
Planning Coordination of all assigned activities during time of replacement
Tracks and resolves production issues
Escalates critical process problems to Production Manager
