The Assistant Director, EHR Applications is responsible for directing and supervising staff and resources to ensure efficient and effective operations. This role involves planning, developing, and directing enterprise-wide activities related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical applications integrated with the electronic health record. The position serves as an advisor to institutional leadership on policy, procedures, and practice changes concerning clinical information systems in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and attends senior leadership forums. The role also engages in the development and execution of strategic plans for designated application teams to support the mission of empowering healthcare, education, and research partners with digital technology. As a member of IT Leadership, this position has a significant organizational impact, contributing to and operationalizing strategy over a mid-term horizon of 2-3 years.
