About The Position

As an Associate, you will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales strategies in the assigned market, driving primary and secondary sales, and ensuring brand presence. You will supervise/manage the distributor network to achieve sales objectives, ensuring the achievement of financial and ethical objectives as per the business strategy. You will have the authority to develop customer management plans, approve expiry products, issue credit notes, recommend the appointment and credit limits of distributors, develop, execute, and plan resource utilization, and participate in Strategy Execution review meetings to ensure alignment. You have a very important role to play in the Division's success.

  • Ensure visibility of Abbott brands on retailers outlet.
  • Make productive call every day.
  • Recommend appointment of distributor.
  • Ensure stock and sales statements and claims settlement.
  • Communicate scheme on Abbott Products and update customers knowledge.
  • Update Doctor list and generate primary order.
  • Execute trade activation / Reward and Recognition.
  • Train supervise Distributor & staff, ISR / Distributor Sales Force.
  • Audit and approve claims of breakages and expiry.
  • Lead adherence to Abbott Code of Business conduct, FCPA, Pharmacovigilance.
  • Compliance to financial, statutory and regulatory norms.
  • Promote professional behavior in line with Abbott Values.
  • Ensure customer service, accuracy in transactions and orders.
  • Manage attrition of customer and resource bases.
  • Execute division and business strategy.
  • Attend Strategy meetings, doctors meets, workshops and training programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Plan monthly and quarterly business, trade activation, and overall sales.
  • Plan demand generation and fulfillment.
  • Monitor sales and implement mid-course corrections to reduce variance.
  • Conduct prescription audits for Abbott and competitor brands.
  • Create and update customer lists of doctors/chemists (Trade).
  • Identify potential towns, appoint distributors, and customers.
  • Achieve sales targets by promoting company products ethically.
  • Engage in science-based discussions with doctors and chemists.
  • Organize camps (CME) and activations for brand visibility.
  • Plan merchandising and sampling activities.
  • Facilitate new product launches and customer targeting.
  • Execute customer management plans, including 100% doctor coverage, customer call average, and market intelligence and inventory management calls.
  • Ensure visibility of Abbott brands on retailers' outlets.
  • Make productive calls every day.
