About The Position

The Associate position at California Chicken Cafe - Los Feliz is responsible for preparing the restaurant's scratch-made menu items accurately and efficiently. This role involves maintaining a positive work environment, preparing and packaging food orders, and adhering to strict food safety and storage regulations. The Associate will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and stocked restaurant, communicating any issues, and following all company policies. This is a full-time or part-time position with varying hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays. The work environment includes exposure to cleaning chemicals, noise, steam, and smoke, and involves working with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must attend and pass California Chicken Café Road to Success class within first month of hire.
Speak, read, and write English fluently.
Passion for food and hospitality.
Friendly, upbeat, and cooperative.
Must enjoy and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Must pass Food Handler course and test in compliance with California state law requirements.
Fully documented to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

1+ years of previous restaurant experience preferred.
