About The Position

The Associate role at California Chicken Café is responsible for preparing the restaurant's famous scratch-made menu items accurately and efficiently. This position involves maintaining a positive work environment, handling guest orders, processing food, and ensuring proper food storage and labeling according to health regulations. Associates are expected to follow recipes, maintain a clean and stocked restaurant, communicate any issues, and adhere to company policies. The role requires physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and working in a kitchen environment with varying hours and conditions.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must attend and pass California Chicken Café Road to Success class within first month of hire.
Speak, read, and write English fluently.
Passion for food and hospitality.
Friendly, upbeat, and cooperative.
Must enjoy and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Must pass Food Handler course and test in compliance with California state law requirements.
Fully documented to work in the United States.

1+ years of previous restaurant experience preferred.
