About The Position

This role involves driving client engagement, reviewing scopes of work, collecting requirements, and project planning for the data management workstream of new Aladdin implementations. The Associate will manage the progress of the data workstream and communicate with clients and partners to ensure the successful delivery of critical milestones. Collaboration with client investment, technology, and data professionals is key to ensuring alignment and clarity on data scope, mapping, normalization, and implementation approaches. The role includes educating and guiding clients on Aladdin data conventions and target state data management workflows, including on-site training for client data teams. The Associate will utilize standard interfaces and configurable elements to facilitate the onboarding of client data from clients and/or third-party data providers. Additionally, the role involves partnering with front-office and investment process practice leads to configure investment portfolio structure, benchmark assignments, and establish proper risk analytics deliverables. Managing systematic data reconciliation and reviews, and driving issue resolution with internal data owners, external vendors, and/or the development of solutions with clients and partners are crucial. The Associate will partner with Analytics stewards to ensure valuation and risk analytics results are comprehensive and meet market and modeling standards. The role also includes managing client requirements, providing critical business and technical analysis to development partners in data stewards, production solutions, and engineering functions for new data and solutions development. Finally, the Associate will provide validation and directly manage the client UAT, create dedicated client documentation with standard templates, and partner with Data Operations to transition new clients into production support.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Finance and Risk Management, Finance, Financial Engineering or a related field
Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as an Analyst or a related role.
Three (3) years of experience with Python and SQL
Three (3) years of experience conducting scope of work reviews and requirements collection
Three (3) years of experience with project planning, including creating and managing project plans, timelines, and milestones
Three (3) years of experience managing project progress and communications with clients and partners
Three (3) years of experience with standard interfaces and configurable elements for data onboarding
Three (3) years of experience applying Risk analytics and valuation standards - Boncalc collections for various financial instrument
Strong analytical skills to provide critical business and technical analysis
Three (3) years of experience managing client UAT processes
Three (3) years of experience partnering with front-office and investment process practice leads to configure investment portfolio structure, benchmark assignments and establish proper risk analytics deliverables
Three (3) years of experience leading and managing complex client implementation projects, ensuring delivery of critical milestones that directly support the execution of business contracts and revenue generation for Aladdin platform
Three (3) years of experience performing detailed data analysis and reconciliation between Aladdin outputs and clients’ internal operational systems and databases
Three (3) years of experience designing, configuring, and implementing data interfaces, overnight production workflows, and downstream analytics processes to support ongoing operations
Three (3) years of experience testing, validating, and deploying new products and enhancements into client environments, ensuring adherence to established best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Three (3) years of experience conducting ongoing reviews of client portfolios and datasets during project implementation to assess alignment with market movements; proactively identify data or analytics issues and collaborate with clients to investigate, resolve and remediate discrepancies.

Responsibilities

Drive client engagement, scope of work review, requirements collection and project planning for the data management workstream of new Aladdin implementations.
Manage data workstream progress and communications with clients and partners to ensure successful delivery of critical milestones along the project plan.
Collaborate with client investment, technology, and data professionals to ensure alignment and clarity of data scope, mapping, normalization, and implementation approaches.
Educate and guide clients on Aladdin data conventions and target state data management workflows inclusive of on-site training for client data teams.
Use standard interfaces and configurable elements to facilitate the onboarding of client data from clients directly and/or third-party data providers.
Partner with front-office and investment process practice leads to configure investment portfolio structure, benchmark assignments and establish proper risk analytics deliverables.
Manage systematic data reconciliation and reviews and drive the resolution of issues with internal data owners, external vendors and/or the development of solutions with clients and partners.
Partner with Analytics stewards to ensure valuation and risk analytics results are comprehensive and up to market and modelling standard.
Manage client requirements, provide critical business, and technical analysis to development partners in data stewards, production solutions and engineering functions for new data and solutions development.
Provide validation and directly manage the client UAT.
Create dedicated client documentation with standard templates and partner with Data Operations to transition new clients into production support.
