About The Position

The Associate position at California Chicken Cafe is responsible for preparing the restaurant's famous scratch-made menu items accurately and efficiently. This role involves maintaining a positive work environment, preparing and packaging food orders, and ensuring adherence to health and company policies. Associates will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and stocked restaurant, communicating any issues with food quality or equipment, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must attend and pass California Chicken Café Road to Success class within first month of hire
Speak, read, and write English fluently
Pass Food Handler course and test in compliance with California state law requirements
Fully documented to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

1+ years of previous restaurant experience preferred
Passionate about food and hospitality
Friendly, upbeat, and cooperative
Must enjoy and succeed in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Maintain a positive and friendly work environment while adhering and applying the company’s core values
Make and package guest food orders
Use manual or electronic appliances to prep and process food
Store and label foods according to Health Department regulations and company policy
Read, comprehend, and execute recipes
Maintain a clean, sanitized, and properly stocked restaurant
Strong communication regarding any issues with food quality, equipment, and work environment
Read and adhere to all company policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
