About The Position

This position is responsible for preparing California Chicken Café's scratch-made menu items accurately and efficiently. The role involves maintaining a positive and friendly work environment, adhering to company core values, and executing various food preparation and packaging tasks. It also requires maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and proper food storage according to health regulations and company policy, as well as strong communication regarding food quality and equipment issues. The associate must read and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must attend and pass California Chicken Café Road to Success class within first month of hire
Speak, read, and write English fluently
Passionate about food and hospitality
Friendly, upbeat, and cooperative
Must enjoy and succeed in a fast-paced environment
Must pass Food Handler course and test in compliance with California state law requirements
Fully documented to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

1+ years of previous restaurant experience preferred

Maintain a clean, sanitized, and properly stocked restaurant

Read and adhere to all company policies and procedures
