About The Position

The Lane Bryant Associate is responsible for creating a hospitable store environment through customer engagement that contributes to the achievement of company goals. The role represents Lane Bryant through fashion and product knowledge, integrates the OMNI experience, and helps create a warm, welcoming environment. Associates identify customers’ needs, share product and fashion information, build relationships, and support store operations as needed.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong sales or hospitality experience preferred, with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient and confident in using mobile technology, including registers and iPads, to engage with customers.
• Frequently adjust or move store fixtures and merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds in all directions; occasionally may need to move items weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance as available.
• Frequently retrieve merchandise displayed or stored above shoulder level, which may involve climbing a ladder up to 12 feet.
• Occasionally replace overhead lightbulbs or signs using a ladder up to 12 feet.
