About The Position

The Temp Seasonal PT Associate at HomeGoods is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience through engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained across multiple store areas to support business needs. The role also includes supporting a positive store culture, following company procedures, and participating in store safety and shrink-reduction efforts.

Responsibilities

• Model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide correct change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
• Give and receive recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
