About The Position

The Associate assists FCA staff with duties assigned by the supervisor to support successful camp ministry or campus ministry programs and/or provide administrative support. This is a temporary, part-time hourly position. Associates are ineligible for FCA benefits and 401(k) contributions and may serve as FCA staff for up to one year. The position is associated with Stephen F. Austin State University.

Ministerial duties are critical to FCA’s mission. The Associate is expected to carry out the role with a heart surrendered to serving God as an act of worship. Responsibilities include following FCA’s Christian Community Statement, maintaining a spiritual rhythm of daily prayer and Bible study, providing spiritual leadership to staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes, participating in a local church through worship and weekly involvement, and conducting themselves in accordance with FCA’s biblical standards of conduct and Christian beliefs.
