Reporting to the Provost and Vice-President, Academic, the Associate Vice-President (AVP), International Education is a senior executive leader and highly visible champion of internationalization at George Brown Polytechnic. The AVP provides strategic vision and institutional leadership for international student recruitment and success, global academic and industry partnerships, student and faculty mobility, study-abroad opportunities, and international business development. As a member of the Polytechnic’s senior management team, the AVP leads the Office of International Education and oversees its strategy, operations, people, partnerships, programs, and resources. Working collaboratively across the Polytechnic, the AVP advances international learning and engagement through a lens of global citizenship, social justice, equity, and inclusion. The role develops partnerships and programs that strengthen teaching, applied research, experiential learning, student success, institutional reputation, and sustainable growth.
