About The Position

IndeVets offers a unique approach to associate veterinarian roles, prioritizing your well-being by replacing rigid contracts with sustainable career paths. As a part-time W-2 veterinarian working 1-3 days per week, you will earn a guaranteed salary with a schedule you control by choosing your preferred workdays. A dedicated scheduling coordinator will build your schedule in advance, offering predictability for your life outside of work. IndeVets manages scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will have a guaranteed salary as a foundation, with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts. These extra shifts can be paid out or converted into additional Paid Time Off (PTO). You will practice in various trusted hospital settings, gaining diverse clinical experience while maintaining the consistency, support, and stability of a single employer. We aim to accommodate interests in surgery, dentistry, ER, or urgent care when possible, eliminating the need to search for shifts or rebuild your schedule weekly. Our model provides a structured, sustainable way to stay connected to veterinary medicine.

Requirements

DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent).
Active license (or ability to obtain).
DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable).
1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting.
Confidence practicing independently.
Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Nice To Haves

GP, ER, or urgent care experience.
Internship training.
