About The Position
Heartstrings Pet Hospice is a private, family-owned veterinary practice dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care for pets and their families. We are seeking veterinarians for full-time and part-time positions to provide in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care. This role offers the opportunity to practice meaningful medicine with unrushed appointments, flexible scheduling, and a supportive leadership team, free from corporate pressure and restrictive non-compete agreements. We value work-life balance and provide ongoing mentorship.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD/BVMS degree.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to work independently in a mobile environment.
- Weekend availability (rotational).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home euthanasia services.
- Offer hospice and palliative care.
- Conduct quality-of-life consultations.
- Offer compassionate family support.
