We utilize many Fear-Free Certified team members and fear free best practices. We are a dedicated cat room, and are considered cat friendly. We are AAHA accredited and have exceptional team longevity, with many members staying with our hospital for 14+ years. We love to cross train staff and have a focus on education, which has allowed us to have an effective tech & assistant team!

Requirements

A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
Licensure in good standing to practice in Oregon state, or the ability to obtain

Nice To Haves

Comfortable seeing rabbits & pocket pets
Experience with emergent cases
Experience with surgeries (mainly spays, neuters, abscess removals, and laceration repairs)
Experience with dentals

Responsibilities

Perform surgeries (mainly spays, neuters, abscess removals, and laceration repairs)
Perform dentals
See small animals; dogs and cats
Potentially see rabbits & pocket pets
Conduct wellness exams
Handle emergent cases
Practice the highest standard of medicine
Uphold the veterinary code of ethics
