DVM Focus is representing a full-time Associate Veterinarian opportunity in Central Florida for an experienced DVM who enjoys comprehensive companion-animal medicine and wants the resources and support to focus on high-quality patient care. This is an established general-practice environment offering a varied caseload, strong clinical support, and room for continued professional growth.
Requirements
- DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree
- Florida veterinary license or ability to obtain one
- Minimum 2 years of post-graduate clinical veterinary experience
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- General surgical and dental competency
- Excellent client communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative veterinary team
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and continued professional development
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive companion-animal care, including: Preventive and wellness medicine, Diagnostic evaluation and medical workups, Internal medicine, General surgery, Dentistry, Treatment planning and case management, Client education and communication, Collaboration with veterinary and support-team colleagues.
