About The Position

Veterinary Medical & Emergency Center in Port St. Lucie, Florida, is seeking a compassionate, driven general practice veterinarian. The hospital provides comprehensive wellness care as well as 24/7 emergency and critical care support. Its facilities include nine exam rooms and a team of general practice and emergency veterinarians. The role offers the opportunity to build client relationships while treating pets, with support from an experienced veterinary and technician team. The schedule is 7 a.m.–5:30 p.m. with rotating Saturdays; there are no on-call shifts. New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply, and mentorship is available.

Requirements

• DVM or VMD from an accredited veterinary program.
• Active or eligible Florida veterinary license.
• Strong communication skills.
• Genuine compassion for animals and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical and surgical cases.
• Perform wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, and preventive services.
• Use in-house diagnostics, radiology, ultrasound, and other advanced tools.
• Build lasting relationships with clients and the Port St. Lucie community.
• Collaborate with a supportive, experienced team of veterinarians and technicians.
