About The Position

East Los Angeles Dog and Cat Hospital is hiring an experienced, independent veterinarian skilled in general practice medicine. The hospital is a well-established, progressive, fast-paced general practice and small-animal clinic that accepts walk-ins and has served the Los Angeles community for over 30 years. Its services include preventive care, surgery, in-house diagnostics, digital full-body radiology, ultrasonography, and boarding. The hospital is equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, a full dental suite, and comprehensive anesthesia monitoring.

The role offers medical autonomy and flexible scheduling, with full-time, part-time, or relief options. The hospital is closed on Sundays and has rotating Saturdays. Compensation is listed at $125,000–$180,000, depending on experience, qualifications, schedule, and compensation structure. Future ownership opportunities are available.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
• Active veterinary state license.
• Experienced and independent veterinarian skilled in general practice medicine.

Nice To Haves

• Current DEA license; preferred but not required.
• USDA accreditation; preferred but not required.
