About The Position

Shadow Hills Pet Clinic in Sun Valley is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative team with three current associates, skilled support staff, and up-to-date equipment. The clinic is a general practice with an average of 18 patients per day and a case mix that includes wellness, surgery, dentistry, and sick pets. Its equipment includes digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratories, and dental X-ray. The role offers medical autonomy to perform diagnostics, procedures, and surgery in-house, with support from the clinic’s medical systems and team. The clinic emphasizes loyal client relationships, mentorship, professional growth, and flexible scheduling. It is located in Sun Valley, approximately 15 miles from downtown Los Angeles.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
Compassionate, client-centered approach to care.
Strong communication and client-education skills.

Nice To Haves

Interest or experience in medical direction, exotic animals, soft tissue surgery, or orthopedic surgery; these are optional role-specific skills.
The role is described as new-graduate friendly.
