About The Position
Village Vet Animal Clinic is a full-service veterinary hospital in Broken Arrow, OK, offering compassionate care to animals of all species - dogs, cats, and non-domestic pets including rabbits, ferrets, pocket pets, reptiles, and amphibians. We were founded in 1986 and has served the Broken Arrow community every day since. At one time, Village Vet Animal Clinic was one of the only practices offering exotic pet medicine. We provide preventative medicine, dental care, diagnostics, and soft tissue surgery on all species that we treat. We offer radiography, dental radiography, and ultrasound services. This position is for an Associate Veterinarian (DVM) with a focus on compassionate care for all creatures great and small. The clinic is a tight-knit, mission-driven team that’s been proudly serving our community since 1986. They offer full-service care to both traditional and exotic pets. The clinic is a hub of progressive medicine, continuous learning, and heartfelt collaboration. Every day brings a new opportunity to learn, laugh, and make a difference. They are proud to be one of the only practices in the area with a dedicated team for exotic and non-domestic pets.
Requirements
- DVM (or soon-to-be grad) with a valid license to practice in Oklahoma
- Strong communication skills
- Collaborative spirit
- Love for client education
- Love for exotic animal medicine (or a willingness to learn!)
- Eagerness to make an impact in a close-knit, community-oriented clinic
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to animals of all species, including dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, pocket pets, reptiles, and amphibians.
- Offer preventative medicine, dental care, diagnostics, and soft tissue surgery.
- Utilize radiography, dental radiography, and ultrasound services.
- Educate clients on animal health and care.
- Collaborate with a team-based environment.
