About The Position

Balboa Veterinary Medical Center is a well-established general practice in Granada Hills, California, with modern equipment, loyal clients, and a collaborative, teaching-focused team. The practice sees an average of 18 patients per day, has a 2:1 support staff ratio, and treats wellness and sick patients while providing surgery and dentistry. Equipment includes digital X-ray, digital dental equipment, ultrasound, and in-house labs.

The Associate Veterinarian will provide patient care and build long-term client relationships in a supportive environment with an experienced veterinarian, skilled technicians, dedicated client service representatives, and strong leadership support. The role offers medical autonomy, mentorship, operational resources, and opportunities for professional growth.

Compensation is $170,000–$200,000 annually, plus a production bonus. The practice offers a production-based long-term incentive cash program and no negative accrual. Scheduling is flexible. Relocation assistance and sign-on bonuses are available. The position is based in Granada Hills, in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
