About The Position

IndeVets is seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Tucson, AZ. This role offers a unique approach to veterinary medicine, prioritizing veterinarian well-being with sustainable career paths, control over schedules, and guaranteed income. As a part-time W-2 employee working 1-3 days per week, you will receive a guaranteed biweekly salary with the flexibility to choose your working days. A dedicated scheduling coordinator will build your schedule in advance, providing predictability. You will practice medicine in various trusted hospital settings, gaining diverse clinical experience while maintaining the support of a single employer. The role emphasizes clinical autonomy, patient care over numbers, and provides a strong support system including medical leadership, mentorship, a community of fellow veterinarians, and access to a veterinary social worker. Opportunities for leadership, mentorship, exposure to diverse clinical settings, and flexibility to evolve your schedule are available, all within a model designed to prevent burnout.

Requirements

• DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
• Active license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
• Confidence practicing independently
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
