Associate Veterinarian - South Shores Animal Hospital (Las Vegas, NV)
About The Position
South Shores Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our progressive, AAHA-accredited hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is an outstanding opportunity for a veterinarian with 3+ years of clinical experience who is passionate about practicing high-quality medicine, building lasting client relationships, and working alongside a collaborative team of veterinary professionals. Our doctors have access to advanced diagnostic and surgical capabilities, specialist support, and a recently modernized facility designed to support exceptional patient care and professional growth. This position requires regular Friday availability and every other Saturday as part of a full-time schedule.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine, or equivalent certification for international graduates
- Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
- Active Nevada veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date
- Minimum of three years of clinical veterinary experience
- Interest in seeing dogs, cats, and exotic pets
- Availability to work Fridays and every other Saturday

- Experience utilizing digital radiography, dental radiography, and in-house diagnostics
- Experience in small animal general practice, urgent care, or companion animal medicine
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach to medicine
- Interest in advanced diagnostics, surgery, rehabilitation, or exotics medicine
