About The Position

IndeVets is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our practice in Scranton, PA. We offer a unique employment model designed to provide stability, support, and control over your career and life outside of work. As a W-2 employee, you will have the flexibility to choose your workdays (4-5 days per week) and build a predictable schedule with the help of a dedicated scheduling coordinator. We handle scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will have a guaranteed salary, with the option to earn more through additional shifts, which can be paid out or converted to PTO. You will practice across a network of trusted hospital partners, gaining diverse clinical experience and building relationships with teams. We support various interests including surgery, dentistry, ER, and urgent care. Our model emphasizes clinical autonomy, patient care over numbers, and prevents burnout. We provide dedicated medical leadership, mentorship, a collaborative community of veterinarians, and access to a veterinary social worker. Ongoing CE and professional development opportunities are also provided.

Requirements

• DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent).
• Active license (or ability to obtain).
• DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable).
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting.
• Confidence practicing independently.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Nice To Haves

• GP, ER, or urgent care experience.
• Internship training.
