About The Position

As a part-time W-2 veterinarian working 1-3 days per week, you will have a predictable biweekly salary and the flexibility to choose your working days. IndeVets handles all scheduling, logistics, and coordination, enabling you to focus on practicing medicine. You have the option to earn additional income by picking up extra shifts, which can be paid out or converted into additional Paid Time Off (PTO). You will gain diverse clinical experience by practicing in various trusted hospital settings while maintaining the stability of a single employer. Opportunities to work in surgery, dentistry, ER, or urgent care shifts can be included based on availability. This model eliminates the need for shift searching, weekly schedule rebuilding, and contracting, offering a structured and sustainable way to practice veterinary medicine.

Requirements

• DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent).
• Active license (or ability to obtain).
• DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable).
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting.
• Confidence practicing independently.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Nice To Haves

• GP, ER, or urgent care experience.
• Internship training.
