About The Position

IndeVets offers a reimagined approach to associate veterinarian roles, prioritizing your well-being with sustainable career paths, schedule control, and guaranteed income. As a part-time W-2 veterinarian working 1-3 days per week, you will earn a guaranteed salary with a schedule you control by choosing your preferred workdays. A dedicated scheduling coordinator will build your schedule in advance, providing predictability for your life outside of work. IndeVets handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You'll have a guaranteed salary as a foundation, with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts, which can be paid out or converted into additional PTO. You will practice across a variety of trusted hospital settings, gaining diverse clinical experience while maintaining the consistency, support, and stability of a single employer. Opportunities to include shifts in surgery, dentistry, ER, or urgent care may be available. This model provides a structured, sustainable way to stay connected to veterinary medicine without the burden of shift searching or weekly schedule rebuilding.

Requirements

  • DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
  • Active license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
  • Confidence practicing independently
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills

  • GP, ER, or urgent care experience
  • Internship training
