About The Position

Quality Veterinary Care, a well-established small-animal practice in Elmont, New York, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care. The veterinarian will build client relationships, educate clients about preventative care, and work with a skilled support team to promote patient comfort and client satisfaction. The role also involves collaborating on the practice’s development and helping develop the support team. The practice is equipped with digital radiography, in-house laboratories, dental radiography, ultrasound, and other equipment. Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA-accredited university.
Current DEA license or ability to obtain one upon hire.
Active veterinary state license.
USDA accreditation or ability to obtain it upon hire.
Proficiency in general medicine and surgery.
Compassionate approach, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
Veterinary experience; the posting seeks an experienced veterinarian.
