About The Position

Memorial Veterinary Hospital in Throop, Pennsylvania is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team! This is a great opportunity for a veterinarian looking to practice high-quality medicine within a supportive, collaborative environment while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Memorial Veterinary Hospital is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive veterinary care to pets and their families throughout the greater Scranton area. We are looking for a veterinarian who values strong client relationships, teamwork, and practicing medicine in an environment where doctors are supported by an experienced clinical team. One of the unique benefits of joining Memorial Veterinary Hospital in Throop is our close relationship with our sister hospital, Memorial Veterinary Hospital in Dickson City. Having two nearby locations gives our veterinarians access to a broader network of doctors and support staff, creating additional opportunities for collaboration, shared knowledge, and clinical support. Depending on your interests and the needs of our hospitals, there may also be opportunities to collaborate or work across both locations. You’ll have the close-knit feel of a local veterinary practice while also benefiting from having an additional team of veterinary professionals nearby to lean on. At Memorial, we believe veterinarians do their best work when they have the support, resources, and flexibility they need to succeed. Whether you’re an experienced veterinarian looking for your next long-term home or a newer doctor looking to continue building your skills, you’ll have the opportunity to practice quality medicine while being part of a team that genuinely works together. The primary purpose and function of the Associate Veterinarian is to provide the highest quality of veterinary care and exceptional client service. The Associate Veterinarian advocates for pets and their quality of life; builds a long term bonding relationship with clients; contributes to the development and maintenance of the human-pet bond; and educates clients on all aspects of pet health. This role partners with the Practice Manager as a driving force in support of a positive, high-performing culture that aligns with VetEvolve’s guiding principles of Care First, Better Together, Grow Forward, and Own It.
