About The Position
Fairmont Veterinary Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Fairmont, WV. Established in 1979, this full-service, small animal hospital provides comprehensive care including preventive medicine, wellness, dentistry, diagnostics, soft-tissue surgery, and orthopedic procedures. The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical technology such as digital radiography, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, and surgical suites. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) degree
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in West Virginia
- Veterinarians of all experience levels are encouraged to apply, including new graduates
- Strong interest in companion animal medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to dogs and cats
- Perform wellness and preventive care examinations
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans and communicate recommendations clearly with clients
- Perform routine surgical and dental procedures based on your experience and interests
- Utilize in-house diagnostics, including laboratory testing, digital radiography, and ultrasound
- Participate in case collaboration and consultation with other veterinarians
- Build strong, trusting relationships with clients and their pets
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital culture
