About The Position

Lazy 3 Animal Care is a full-service mixed-animal general practice located between Cisco and Eastland, Texas. The clinic has served the community since 2002, combining hometown veterinary care with a varied caseload across companion animals, livestock, equine, and other species. The veterinarian can develop a caseload around their interests, whether primarily companion animal, large animal, or a combination. The practice provides companion-animal wellness and sick care, surgery, dentistry, urgent and emergency care, large-animal medicine, livestock and equine care, and treatment of exotics. The clinic is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, EKG, and on-site laboratory capabilities. General soft-tissue surgery is available, with opportunities for doctors interested in expanding their surgical skills. The veterinarian will work with experienced veterinary technicians, including team members with large-animal and livestock backgrounds, and will have medical autonomy supported by the clinic’s medical systems and team. The role is suited to veterinarians who value patient care and long-term client relationships, enjoy variety, and want to practice independently while collaborating with doctors and staff. Mixed-animal experience is welcome but not required; small-animal veterinarians interested in gaining large-animal experience are encouraged to apply. Experienced veterinarians and new graduates are both welcome. The clinic operates Monday through Friday and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The position offers a $25,000 sign-on bonus, competitive annual salary plus production bonus, and a DVM Long-Term Incentive Cash Program with annual production-based bonuses. Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
Eligible for veterinary licensure in Texas.
Compassionate, client-centered approach to care.
Strong communication and client-education skills.
Interest in mixed-animal medicine is a plus; mixed-animal experience is not required.
Experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
