About The Position

IndeVets is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian for their Little River, SC location. This role offers a unique approach to veterinary medicine, prioritizing work-life balance and veterinarian well-being. Unlike traditional models, IndeVets replaces rigid contracts with sustainable career paths, giving veterinarians control over their schedules and guaranteed income, supported by hands-on assistance and a community. Veterinarians can choose to work 1-5 days a week, with a dedicated scheduling coordinator building schedules in advance based on preferences. The role involves practicing across a network of trusted hospital partners, offering diverse clinical experience and opportunities in surgery, dentistry, ER, or urgent care. IndeVets provides the consistency, benefits, and professional support of a full-time employer, eliminating concerns about shift chasing, income uncertainty, and last-minute schedule gaps. The practice emphasizes patient care over numbers, with no production quotas, negative accrual, or restrictive non-competes. Veterinarians practice independently but have access to dedicated medical leadership, mentorship, a collaborative community, and a veterinary social worker. Ongoing CE and professional development opportunities are also provided. The model is designed to prevent burnout and foster career growth through leadership opportunities, exposure to diverse settings, and flexibility to evolve schedules.
