About The Position

Senior Helpers is seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers to provide quality in-home care to seniors throughout Horry and Georgetown counties, South Carolina. The role supports clients in maintaining their independence, dignity, and quality of life through companionship, personal care, assistance with daily activities, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. Caregivers follow care plans, communicate effectively, and provide compassionate support. Flexible scheduling is available, and weekend availability may be needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional.
• Willingness to provide hands-on personal care.
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively.
• Availability to work flexible schedules.

Nice To Haves

• Weekend availability is a plus; some client schedules may require weekend care.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
• Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and help maintain a safe environment.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Encourage client independence while offering compassionate support.
• Follow care plans and communicate effectively.
