About The Position

River Road Veterinary Hospital in Andover, Massachusetts, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian for a small-animal general practice that also provides urgent care and walk-in visits during business hours. Services include wellness care, medical workups, surgery, and dentistry. Diagnostic resources include ultrasound, digital radiography, and an in-house laboratory. The hospital’s published surgical workflow includes pre-anesthetic bloodwork, continuous anesthesia monitoring, monitored recovery, and discharge education. The schedule is Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in 10-hour shifts, with no on-call responsibilities. The veterinarian will work some solo shifts; patients requiring care beyond the hospital’s capabilities are referred to Bulger. The team includes a Lead Veterinarian, Practice Manager, Clinic Supervisor, and Surgery Veterinary Technician. Two technicians and one assistant are scheduled for clinical support.
