About The Position
Join us as an Associate Veterinarian at VCA Animal Care Clinic and you’ll quickly discover that you’ll be well supported by world-class medicine, technology, facilities and a talented team. You’ll be empowered to do your best work with a team you can count on. At VCA, the future of veterinary medicine is in our hands. The hospital is well-appointed with 8 exam rooms, a treatment area, and dental and surgery suites. It features advanced diagnostics with an in-house lab (Chemistries, Electrolytes, CBC) and access to Antech for additional diagnostics. Cutting-edge technology includes in-house ultrasound, digital radiographs, and digital dental radiographs. Expert consultation is available by sending digital radiographs to Board Certified Radiologists for expert opinions. Surgical support includes Cardell monitors, pulse ox, blood pressure monitoring, and advanced surgical care capabilities. Additional services include a full boarding facility, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), a full pharmacy, and a grooming salon. Computers are in every exam room for streamlined patient care. There is strong collaboration with local rescue groups. The practice is a hands-free radiology and Fear-Free Practice. Students and new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated mentorship.
Requirements
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
- Licensure in good standing to practice in CA, or the ability to obtain
