About The Position
IndeVets is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Dallas, TX. This role offers a unique approach to veterinary medicine, prioritizing work-life balance and career sustainability. As a W-2 employee, you will have control over your schedule, working 4-5 days per week with a guaranteed biweekly salary. IndeVets handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will work across a network of trusted hospital partners, gaining diverse clinical experience. The position emphasizes clinical autonomy, patient care over numbers, and provides robust support including medical leadership, mentorship, a community of peers, and access to a veterinary social worker. Opportunities for leadership, professional development, and exposure to various clinical settings are available, all within a model designed to prevent burnout.
Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
- Active license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
- Confidence practicing independently
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
