Associate Veterinarian (GP, UC or hybrid) - Pennsauken Animal Hospital
About The Position
Pennsauken Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and forward-thinking Associate Veterinarian to join its diverse team at a privately owned, community-focused hospital. The role is open to experienced veterinarians and recent graduates. The hospital provides wellness and preventive care, urgent care and sick visits, dentistry and surgery, inpatient care, and access to an in-house laboratory, digital and dental radiography, and a stocked pharmacy. The Associate Veterinarian provides high-quality medical, surgical, and inpatient care; builds strong relationships with clients and team members; promotes client education and excellent patient experiences; and supports staff in daily medical responsibilities when needed. The role contributes to a collaborative and respectful team culture. The hospital offers training and mentorship, a busy surgical caseload, flexible scheduling, and a focus on work/life balance and professional growth.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
- New Jersey licensure, or ability to obtain it.
- DEA license, or ability to obtain it.
- Passion for client communication and teamwork.
- Proficiency in basic diagnostics and general practice procedures.
- Interest in continuous learning and professional growth.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Comfort handling animals using Fear-Free techniques.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting, including exposure to noise, animals, and medical equipment.
